Daniel Dajani, S.J. Albanian Catholic Institute
The Albanian Catholic Institute has as its patron, Fr. Daniel Dajani, an Albanian Jesuit priest, who was executed by the communists in Shkoder in 1944 along with other Catholics on false charges. Fr. Dajani was a noted educator and superior of the Albanian Jesuits at the time of his execution.
Albanians throughout the world are justly proud that  the most beloved world figure of the twentieth century - Mother Teresa of Calcutta - came from Albania.  The Albanian Catholic Bulletin dedicated many articles to the life and work of Mother Teresa.  The Albanian Catholic Institute intends to continue to tell the story of Mother Teresa's holy and joyful life.
